Tom Fagan

Tom graduated with his Undergraduate Degree from Purdue University and his Master of Science Degree from West Virginia University. He then received his Physical Therapy Degree from Northwestern University. He has been an instructor in several sports medicine programs and continuing education settings. He has been continuously practicing since 1979 in orthopedic and sports medicine clinics.

Tom specializes in joint rehab following surgery or sports injuries. His achievements include APTA delegate 11 years, President NMAPTA, President NM Licensing Board, President Desert States PT Network, President Santa Fe Ski Team, Board Member NM Child Abuse Prevention.

Tom is involved with St Michael’s High School, in Santa Fe, teaching a beginning sports medicine class and providing athletic training services. He is an active squash player and golfer and a supporter of his children’s equestrian and ski racing activities.

Tom was one of the founding therapists of New Mexico Sports Fitness & Physical Therapy in October of 1980 and became its owner in 1988.
